About Us
Founded in 1936 by Hubert C. Bridges, Laxson Electric Company has been serving Colorado for over seventy years. Mr. Bridges transferred the business to his son-in-law, Ed Laxson, who still works for the company today. Ed passed ownership to his son Gary, who operated the company until it was purchased by Aaron Hamel in 2003.
In June 2006, Laxson Electric moved into a new shop facility near Powers Blvd and Palmer Park to accommodate nearly twenty employees. The new facility will allow Laxson to expand while maintaining the hands on working relationships that are a cornerstone of Laxson's commitment to its customers.
Today, Laxson Electric continues to serve the commercial, service and residential electrical needs of Colorado Springs and the Front Range. With a long tradition of quality workmanship and superior customer service, Laxson Electric is moving forward with the community it has helped to build.
